My Fellow Zoners,
Does anyone know of any VOIP/SIP/softphones for the Braillenote Apex or iPod Touch? if so, where could one find these programs, and how much would they cost?
Thank You,
joseph
The skype app works fine with the Ipod touch, for your Braillenote Apex not sure, if memory serves me right its running a dead OS.
blh, that sucks. I have skype on my ipod and yes, it works pretty well. I just wish that skype and humanware would get together and program a version for the bn apex. It's got the capability, I believe, for everything accept the vidi calls and possibly sending larger files.
I would have to agree. But HumanWare are a bit behind the times, wouldn't you agree? I mean look at it. Here we are in 2012, and we are runne on Windows Compact Edition. We've just gotten the .docx file support, the KeyWeb is lockimg up on some pages. So, I doubt that the BN will get any sort of support for Skype, or anything.
Humanware will not get it through their heads, put the nail on the coffen for windows CE and move on to a OS that is still being supported. Heck linix for crying out loud would be fine.
True that. Well, then, if they can't program a version of skype for the bn products, they could at least try to intigrate google voice or something into the keychat.
Essentially, they already do. But it is text only. And to be frank, Darth, it just isn't going to walk with the current OS.
Again, true. If it were, I'm sure they wouldn've done it long before now.
